FAQ
Welcome to our FAQ section. Find quick answers to the most common questions about our work gloves and technologies.
1. Company & Quality Assurance
SIZA GLOVES was founded in 2010. For decade development, as a manufacturer of safety products, we are proud to say that we focus on safety gloves only.
Q: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A: We are a professional manufacturer with our own factory and advanced production lines. This allows us to control costs, ensure quality, and guarantee lead times directly.
Q: What is your quality control process?
A: Quality is integral to our manufacturing. We conduct strict quality checks at every stage—from raw material inspection to in-process production and final random inspection—before shipment.
2. Our Products & Materials
Q: What materials are your cut-resistant gloves made from?
A: We use a variety of high-performance materials, often in blends, including:
High-Performance Polyethylene (HPPE): Lightweight, strong, and floats on water.
Aramid Fibers: Excellent heat and flame resistance.
Glass Fiber: Provides high cut resistance at a lower cost.
Stainless Steel Mesh / Core: For maximum protection against severe cuts and lacerations.
Nitrile Coating / Grip: For enhanced puncture resistance, grip, and durability.
Q: Are your gloves machine washable?
A: Most of our knit and seamless gloves are machine washable. We recommend washing them separately in cold water on a gentle cycle and air-drying them away from direct heat. Always check the specific care instructions on the product label. Metal mesh gloves should be hand-washed.
Q: Do you offer different sizes and styles?
A: Yes. We offer a full range of sizes (from XS to XXL), styles (full-finger, half-finger, palm-coated, seamless knit, and metal mesh), and colors to ensure a perfect fit and functionality for every user.
3. Understanding Cut Resistance & Standards
Q: What does the "cut level" mean?
A: The cut level indicates the amount of force a glove material can withstand before being cut through, as measured by standardized tests (like EN 388, ANSI/ISEA 105, or ISO 13997). A higher level means greater protection against cuts and slashes.
Q: What is the difference between the EN 388 and ANSI/ISEA 105 standards?
A: EN 388 (European Standard): Tests resistance to abrasion, blade cut (circular blade), tear, and puncture. The cut resistance is rated on a scale from A to F, with F being the highest.
ANSI/ISEA 105 (American Standard): Uses a different test method (TDM or CPPT) that applies a straight blade under constant load. It is rated on a scale from A1 to A9, with A9 being the highest.
Q: What cut level do I need for my application?
A: The required level depends on the specific task and sharpness of the materials being handled (e.g., glass, sheet metal, food knives, paper). Please consult our [Glove Selection Guide] or contact our technical support team for a personalized recommendation.
4. Ordering & Logistics
Q: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: we are flexible and can accommodate sample orders or smaller quantities for new partnerships. Please contact our sales team to discuss your needs. And we have many styles in stock for fast delivery.
Q: Can I request a free sample?
A: Absolutely! We encourage you to test the quality, fit, and comfort of our gloves. Please submit a sample request through our website, and a sales representative will assist you.
