Cut Proof Safety Gloves Aramid Coated Steel Wire S1018
Product Name: SIZA Safety S1018 Aramid Coated Steel Wire Cut Proof Safety Gloves
Product Category: Cut Resistant Gloves
Brand: SIZA Safety/Customized
Product Description: 7-Gauge Yellow Aramid Coated Steel Wire Cut Proof Safety Gloves
The 7-Gauge Aramid Coated Steel Wire Cut-Resistant Glove represents the pinnacle of cut-resistant hand protection for industrial applications. Its heavy-duty construction combines a stainless steel core for maximum cut resistance with a durable aramid outer shell that provides exceptional abrasion resistance and longevity. This glove is the go-to choice for workers in metal fabrication, glass handling, and slaughterhouses who face the most severe cut hazards and require a glove that can withstand extreme conditions day after day.
More Feactures:
Supreme Cut Resistance: 7-Gauge Liner with Aramid-Covered Steel Core Yarn. The thick 7-gauge knit provides a robust, heavy-duty base. The core of the yarn is a stainless steel filament, which is wrapped or "covered" with aramid fibers. This combines the extreme cut resistance of steel with the exceptional durability, heat resistance, and comfort of aramid.
Enhanced Durability & Abrasion Resistance: Protective Aramid Shell. The outer layer of aramid fiber is highly resistant to abrasion, sparks, and heat. It prevents the stainless steel core from being exposed too quickly, which can happen with bare stainless steel gloves.
Superior Comfort & Dexterity: Heavy-Duty 7-Gauge Construction. While heavier than finer gauges (like 13 or 15), the 7-gauge knit combined with the aramid covering provides more flexibility and a more comfortable feel than a rigid chainmail or a stiff, fully steel-reinforced glove.
Usage Scenarios / Applications:
This glove is designed for the most severe cut-risk environments:
Metal Stamping & Fabrication: Handling sharp, stamped metal parts and blanks.
Glass Manufacturing: Handling large, sharp-edged glass panes.
Knife-Based Industries: Slaughterhouses, meat/poultry deboning, and dismantling operations.
Recycling & Waste Management: Handling materials with unpredictable sharp edges.
Heavy-Duty Construction & Manufacturing.
Important Precautions / Warnings
NOT Puncture-Resistant: This is a critical limitation. The glove offers excellent protection against slicing motions, but very little against stabbing or puncture hazards from sharp, pointed objects like needles, awls, or screw tips.
Conductivity Warning: The stainless steel core is conductive. NEVER use this glove for electrical work.
Confirm the Cut Rating: Always verify the specific ANSI cut level with the supplier, as performance can vary.
Regular Inspection is Mandatory: Before each use, carefully inspect for broken yarns, cuts, or excessive wear. A single break in the yarn can expose the steel core and create a weak point. Do not use a damaged glove.
